Mission Trip First Baptist Church is taking a special offering this month to help support Micah in his mission trip to Africa.
Association Special Called Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 21st, 7:00 pm, at Milford Hills Baptist Church. The Director of Missions Search Committee will present a candidate at that time. Make plans now to attend this important meeting.
The annual RA Racers will be held on Wednesday Feb. 29th at 6:30pm. Thank you for your support as our young men learn the importance of missions, caring, giving and working together.
The RA Sponsored Inaugural Week-end Bowling For Hunger Tournament will be held in February in the Family Life Center from 10AM - 2PM. A $5 donation to World Hunger will be asked for at time of registration prior to game day. Hot dogs will be provided for lunch. Donations will be accepted for World Hunger. Thank you for your support of the RAs as they learn about missions outreach. See Jason, Rusty or John to register for this fun time and fellowship.
AN INVITATION TO THE LAND CALLED HOLY: Imagine seeing the temple mount with your own eyes… standing in front of the Garden Tomb of Christ…touching the waters of the river Jordan… and, indeed walking in the very footprints of your Savior. The very idea is almost overwhelming and it could very well change your life as you experience the majesty of these Biblical lands in person. We at FBC are in the initial planning stages of a trip to Israel for March of next year [2013]. While the cost of about $3,000 per person may seem prohibitive, the more that attend, the lower the cost [If you can save $250.00 each month then you will have enough to join us] If you think that you may be interested.
FEB. 26TH AT 4:30PM GUY'S FELLOWSHIP Our Baptist Men's Fellowship is coming to life again. All men of the church are urged to attend this meeting, food will be provided. We want to develop a men’s ministry that is God-honoring and ministry oriented as well as being fun and enjoyable. To do that we need your presence and your input. Thank you for making a strong effort to join us.
SEEK GOD FOR THE CITY 2012 - – is a 40 day prayer guide for Feb. 22-Palm Sunday, April 1. Please pick up this booklet today so you can join Pastor Steve in praying for God's work around the world. In that 40 days of Lent we will pray for various needs in our churches and community, for 40 different people groups, for every nation in the world, for a spiritual awakening, and much more.
