What to Expect

What to Expect

We have all been new at some point in time and remember what it is like.  The below information will help you know what to expect upon your visit.

Sunday Mornings

We offer Sunday School, Bible Study, classes for all ages from 8:45-9:45.  Whether you are an infant, toddler, middle-age, or want a class with a range of ages, we have a class just for you.  As you walk up the ramp to the main building, you will be greeted by a member who is excited to help you find a class.

Whether you like a traditional style of worship service or a contemporary style, our 10:00 AM service has both.  You will find that our service, which meets in the Sanctuary, is an upbeat, mix of contemporary style of music featuring a live band as well as a traditional style of music featuring the classic hymns.  There will be a time of greeting those around you.  You will find a congregation that spans a range of ages and backgrounds.  You will see people dressed in all styles – from jeans to business suites.

Also, we don’t expect our visitors to give an offering when the offering plate is passed.  Please feel free to let the plate pass by when it comes your way.  We would like to have a record of your visit by filling out a visitor card.  Pastor Steve will then bring the message from God’s Word.  At the conclusion of each service, there is an opportunity for each person, member or not, to respond to how God has spoken during the service. Our service last approximately 1 hour.  We have a nursery available for infants and we have a children’s worship service in our Family Life Center for children.

Wednesday Evenings
Our Wednesday activities are filled with fellowship, discipleship and missions.  From 6:30 – 7:30, we offer missions activities for the children.

In the Sanctuary, in the main building, there is an opportunity to take part in our worship service through contemporary music with our live band.  After a time of worship through music, the message will be delivered by Pastor Steve while the youth have a Bible Study with the youth minister, Graham Honeycutt.

If you would like to receive more information regarding our various services or what you can expect, please let us know.  We look forward worshiping with you and one of our various gatherings.
